Having flown halfway across the globe to defend his Australian Open title, the tennis legend Novak Djokovic was informed at the Melbourne airport that his visa to enter the country had been cancelled. Even though the reason given was improper paperwork, the real issue was his vaccination or lack thereof.
Rooting for him. Here in the US we have football great Aaron Rogers getting ready for the NFL playoffs. I think everyone, whether a fan or not, is hoping his team the Green Bay Packers get into the Super Bowl and that Rogers leads them to the championship. The whole incident has been ridiculous. Instead of now exposing “the falseness of the government’s Covid narrative” it exposes the stupidity of the government and Australia. We are an absolute laughing stock and so we should be. I hope he plays and I hope he wins. I’m very worried he will get booed in his matches because of the vindictive group-think narrative followers, even this will only exacerbate how far Australia has fallen #nottheluckycountry
