Having read an account of Premier Zelensky's address to the HOC, it seems that blustering Boris has now adopted his JFK persona: 'Ya Ukrainets' - 'I am Ukrainian'; almost as resonant as JFK's 'Ich bin ein Berliner'.

So the war goes on and the soundbites proliferate.

Amen! Well said!

"Biden going to church" obviously has far more to do with his desire to meet the young congregants who will be gathered together there, and to sniff their hair, than it has to do with any desire he might have to consolidate his own or others' spiritual welfare.

And by no means should we ever confuse the beating of the war drums with any idea that those doing so are acting out of "unforgiveable foolishness"; these people are truly evil, not foolish, and what is happening in Ukraine is simply the end game in what has been a high level policy of destroying Russia and instituting regime change there for at least a decade and probably ever since Putin came to prominence.

As for Trudeau, the "man" is utterly contemptible, and simply a despicable stooge for the various nefarious objectives being played out by all these alumni of the WEF Young Global Leaders programme.

Trudeau was spotted at no 10 recently, welcomed by Boris. I can't find the words to describe Trudeau- the glamorous despot, all tricked out in multi-culti feel good soundbites, while gratuitously suppressing the truckers' entirely legitimate protest.

Will these posturing poseurs never stop to consider where their righteous hubris is leading us?

Serious economic and social disruption now lie in wait, as they shake off the lockdowns' collateral damage, assume their latest incarnation as leaders in the fight against tyranny, make even more money, manipulate the message and effectively cancel Russia.

This must be the most abject, irresponsible , misguided strategy, yet the public are, by and large, buying into it.

Archbishop Vigano's recent denouncement of the political chicanery now afoot will hopefully encourage more resistance, coming, as it does, from an unexpected spurce.

Very good Vasko.

You know the idea that Russia is getting hit hard is almost comical. As if 11,000 (if that number is even accurate) is some kind of "extremely costly" "terrible mistake" for them. Until that number grows 3 - 4 more zeros, that's just "the cost of doing business".

People want civilians to fight the Russian army? Have people gone mad?

Maybe before people get WW3 in their heads as something like a "good idea", they ought to have a refresher on WW2? In particular take close notes on Russian casualties and equipment losses.

What is it between Germans and Russians - the more the latter hate them, the more the former love them? Can you explain?

I would say “evil” instead…
