Some Cartoons
There has been so much happening in recent weeks that it is almost impossible to keep up with everything that is going on. Events follow each other in such a quick succession that something that would have normally dominated headlines for days is superseded by another important happening in just a few hours. Some significant items do not even make it to the headlines.
As I tried to process it all, images began emerging in my mind, and I realized I could use cartoons to supplement written commentary.
I find it fascinating how a complex event or idea can be captured by a single graphic. Equally striking is the fact that the meaning can be grasped almost instantaneously by the audience.

I find political cartoons to be an amazingly effective way to communicate ideas -- perhaps because I am an artist, I am especially drawn to them and appreciate them more than the average person. Anyway, yours are really good -- I didn't know you're an artist and a writer.
