A truly heartening piece of news comes out of Stanford: The Stanford Review, the school’s independent newspaper, is taking a bold stand against the unhinged progressivism that has taken over so many American universities. This Monday they started a series called “Woke Watch.”
Woke conquest of education took place, in part, because we were not watching. The "deliberate dumbing down" of America started in the late 1800s and early 1900s, part of an anti-American and anti-exceptionalism agenda that culminated in what we are looking at today. If we want to find who allowed this to happen, we need only look into a mirror. That may seem harsh, but for decades we treated education, especially for our kids, as a babysitting enterprise, which allowed more people, especially women, to go to work. Meanwhile, the Left was indoctrinating kids, rather than educating them. We learned a lot about this during the plandemic, when parents saw what was being taught during zoom classes. Parents were appalled, and many turned to homeschooling as a result. I agree, though, that pushing back will be difficult.
Even full on leftists, like members of my family for instance, are having a hard time dragging themselves on to the campus. It must be pretty bad. I was making a comment about the Tree at diner the other day, and there was actually some laughter. I think we have almost reached the edge of stupidity here, but don’t worry, up in Canada they are developing new methods to reach farther into the darkness.
One small step for mankind. One giant step for freedom and sanity!
My daughter graduated from Stanford.
It is indeed encouraging to see this flicker, at least, at the end of the woke college tunnel.

We should all donate to The Stanford Review. https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=LEFHT3EH4JD9J&source=url
Vasko my friend your articles are great and show that there are people that like you who can tell us the truth.
More of this please.
It won’t stop until folks stop sending their kids to these leftist seminaries.
